We began this website in August 2004 to try to gauge the interest of the disabled community in forming our own national organization for disabled riders, similar to the one already established in the UK. It was slow going in the beginning, but following a feature article in the AMA magazine we have had a steady incline in interest and membership. We are now approaching 400 members, including the motorcycling celebrity, Dave Barr, and are in the process of gaining our AMA charter and registering with the federal government as a legal non-profit organization. We'd obviously like to keep growing and are always looking for new members to join our cause. If you are viewing this page that means something about the DRA sparked your interest, which is great. We encourage you to look around the website, get a sense of what we're all about. Then, if this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, please fill out and submit our Online Membership Form! After you have done that please register at our Forum section, where we post club updates, personal stories, and discussions regarding any aspect of motorcycling.
